The American Society of Theatre Consultants continues its support and entertainment at the upcoming International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) VenueConnect conference in Chicago, July 21 through 24, 2019. For the past seven years, Robert Long, FASTC, and Scott Crossfield, ASTC have told the story of theatres in the conference city. The conference will be back in Chicago, and so will Robert and Scott to tell a new and improved tale in “Chicago, Not Just a Musical!”

Robert and Scott have become well known for their exciting look back at how the theatres in major cities have influenced or been influenced by their surroundings. Past years have included presentations about theatre in New York, Las Vegas, Kansas City, San Francisco, San Antonio, and most recently Toronto.
