Many of those who attended a summer camp in their youth for theatre were thrilled to write their name and the productions they were involved with on the backstage walls of the theatre. A point of pride and accomplishment that they were happy to have acheived. At the LA Forum, the shoe is on the other foot. The LA Forum reminds anyone who is backstage the events that have occurred throughout its history. Capitalized block letters stretch the length of the dock and loading ramp. The year, performers, and sometimes the quantity of shows for a single year the artist played at the Forum are lined up in bright white on a red background. The stack of 16 rows must be a wonder for artists and crews to know they will have their name added to this wall, and hopefully be a great motivator to put on a fantastic show.
